Introducing EDP’s Heavy Duty Battery Server Lift

EDP’s Heavy Duty Battery Server Lift Slim-Line HD offers heavy lifting whilst still offering outstanding manoeuvrability thanks to its stable design. The Slim-Line HD range has been developed with high flexibility in mind and can be used in confined surroundings. By handling items with as little force as possible, and by using the right movements the Slim-Line HD helps eliminate harmful work procedures.

The Slim-Line HD server lifter is constructed in steel and finished with powder-coated structural paint, ensuring a highly resistant surface. Created to allow operators to easily transport and position heavy objects weighing between 125Kg and 285Kg. You can choose from a range of 7 models. Supplied with a standard platform, you can choose to upgrade this to either the roller platform or the telescopic platform, the latter specifically designed to assist in installing servers in Data Centre Server Racks. Additionally, there is a wide range of attachments, each built to handle different types of loads.

These server lifters enhance the handling of heavy loads, significantly reducing the risk of occupational injuries from lifting, moving, and handling heavy objects. All HD models boast easy maneuverability, equipped with a powerful and fast motor that lifts at 120mm per second. They come with an ergonomic handle featuring different grip surfaces to ensure a natural position while maneuvering the lifter. A removable control unit, situated between the handles, integrates an emergency stop and provides a non-slip grip. The built-in battery indicator accurately shows the battery status.

Safety

The  49-SL-125x and 49-SL-205x models are equipped with a central brake and a directional lock to facilitate straight-line movement. The 49-SL-285M comes with single brakes directly on the wheels, though users can upgrade this to a central brake. Every model runs on a reinforced toothed belt, ensuring high operational safety, with all moving parts shielded. To ensure safer handling, all models include a soft start and stop feature. To protect both the operator and the load, Slim-Line server lifters include an overload protection function that halts lift movement if the lift trolley becomes overloaded. Additionally, to prevent crushing accidents, they have implemented an anti-crushing system that stops the lift movement upon detecting potential crushing while lowering objects.

Telescopic Platform

You can equip the Classic and Slim-Line server lifter models with the optional Telescopic Platform. We specifically designed this platform to install servers into Data Centre racks. It extends the reach by an additional 300mm. However, using this platform affects the maximum weight capacity of the lifter and may also require counterweights to be fitted depending on the server lifter model. Contact us for more details.
