Meet Me Room (MMR) Connectivity Solutions

HUBER+SUHNER LiSA Fibre Management System

Meet-me room (MMR) connectivity refers to the physical connections established within the MMR. These connections facilitate the data exchange between the carriers and providers, and the other areas of the Data Centre.

HUBER+SUHNER LiSA fibre optic systems are distributed by EDP Distribution. Chiefly used for centralised cross-connections in the main distribution areas of large Data Centres or Enterprise IT environments. The HUBER+SUHNER LiSA fibre optic system consists of Cable Distribution Racks (CDRs), or Optical Distribution Frames (ODFs) as they are also known as, chassis, fibre trays and distribution units.

LiSA CDR cabinets have a shallow 300 mm depth that can be fully accessed from the front side.  As a result, it allows cabinets to be positioned against unused walls, at the end of cold aisles or back-to-back on a single floor tile. LiSA racks have a density of 1500 LC ports per rack or 3000 LC ports per tile when placed back-to-back. In MTP applications the density is 1080 or 2160 MTP ports respectively.
